HOW TO:
Fit Pipe Reducers
Almost all standard radiator and towel rail valves in the UK are designed to fit 15mm pipework. If your pipework is narrower, you can use a cost effective pipe reducer to fit 8mm or 10mm pipework. Here's how to fit them to your valves:
STEP 1
Remove the compression nut and olive from the valve
STEP 2
Place the compression nut and olive onto the pipe reducer
STEP 3
Insert pipe reducer into the valve
STEP 4
Tighten the compression nut onto the valve, ensuring the pipe reducer is fully inserted as shown
